Saks

I went shopping at the Plaza way back in 1995 or 96 with my friend Mandy (at least I think it was her, it was a long time ago. Mandy let me know if you don’t remember this.) Anyway, we thought we were big shots because we were shopping at the Plaza. We went to Saks Fifth Avenue just for the fun of it. Well, I found this black wool blazer that I thought I just HAD to have. However, it cost a whopping $99 and I just didn’t have the money. The sales lady saw me looking at it and offered to open a credit card account for me. Who couldn’t pass up that deal!! So, I opened the account and the blazer is still in my closet 13-14 years later. What an investment.

Your hair is very cute in this picture. I still have a suede blazzer from the late 90's that I just can't get rid of. Love it!

A classic is...just that--classic.If you can keep it up-to date by what you put it together with... I dare say I would have had a couple of things in my closet for even longer than this...if I had not outgrown them! sniff, sniff
