Sweet Pea will be here in about 7 weeks! This weekend I plan on shopping for baby essentials. What do I need??!! It seems like forever ago that my kids were babies and I'm just not sure what to get. Let me know if you have any ideas. Also, I am looking for that "perfect" stroller. Any suggestions?

Oh goodness it was forever ago for me with babies too! My baby just turned five! Okay here goes for my suggestions put your car seat in to have it ready, wash up the bottles and pacifiers, wash sheets and have crib set up. Make sure to have plenty of diapers, wipes, and sleepers. Have your bag packed and ready for the hospital also one for the kids staying with Grandma.
Great suggestion about packing a bag for the kids. I forgot about that!
I don't know about a stroller. I love my jogging strollers but I have heard about those that can rotate and people tend to love them too. One thing I would get if I had another baby that they didn't have when my 3 were babies is one of those rubber seats. Do you know what I am talking about?
Yeah I thought I heard that too but I have seen them for sale still so I don't know. I think a little common sense will go a long ways with motherhood don't you? :-)
Lori, I don't know if you saw Steals and Deals that I just posted but I just posted Penney's in Columbia had a huge sale on Baby clothing! $1.97 racks!
Hey Patrick...I saw your comment about Chris' gray hair on my blog and Chris responds with...At least I have hair. :O)
Patrick, I just looked up verb tense and conjugation and sorry Patrick but I was correct. It is drunk not drank.

Karen - Chris is too funny.
Mandy, I will have to ask Patrick what you are taking about.
My friend has a Bumpo seat that I am going to borrow. It is pink... I think it will be nice to have- I promise I won't put it on the counter:)
"Drink" is what grammarians call a "strong" verb that changes tense with an internal change; a "weak" verb just adds "ed" to the original verb. Strong verbs include "think/thought," "run/ran," "teach/taught," and "stink/stank." Weak verbs include "love/loved," "smile/smiled," and "ask/asked."
My dictionary says "drunk" is an archaic past tense of "drink." Several hundred years ago, we might have said "I drunk a lot last night." But now we'd say "I drank a lot last night," as one may suggest.
"Drunk" is also a past participle of "drink,". And as a participle it is also a "verbal adjective" that can modify nouns and pronouns or even act as a noun itself:
He is a convicted drunk driver.
He is a lifelong drunk.
Thus, I herein still believe that I was right and NOT drunk.
